Location of Maison Blanche

Maison Blanche is ten minutes walk away from the center of Cirey-sur-Blaise. The village is North-East of Bar-sur-Aube, and North-West of Chaumont, on the route D2 between Bouzancourt and Arancourt.

Directions to Maison Blanche

By Car -- Take the Dover-Calais or Dover-Boulogne route across the Channel. Leaving Calais you take the A26 following the direction of Reims (the joy of this journey is that you do not have to go anywhere near the peripherique) you stay on the A26 (which in the middle of Reims changes its number to A4) in the direction of Troyes.

At Chalons-sur-Marne you have a choice – you can either take the more scenic and shorter route on the N44 to Vitry-le-Francois, then N4 to St. Dizier, the N67 to Joinville, the D60 to Doulevant le Chateau and then follow signs to Cirey-sur-Blaise.

Alternatively you stay on the A26 to Troyes, Go on to the A5 in the direction of Dijon and come off at Junction 23 which is signposted Columbey-les-Deux-Eglises.

Follow the signs for Columbey and in Columbey take the D2 to Blaise and Cirey-sur-Blaise. Due to the chateau the village is well signposted.

The journey will take approximately 5 hours which includes half an hour for stops. It can be done faster!

By Rail -- Take the Eurostar from Waterloo International Station to Gare du Nord in Paris. Walk to the Paris d’Ouest (about 10 mins max.) and get on a train to Troyes. From Troyes you can either hire a car or take a local train to Bar sur Aube and then a taxi to the house.

By Air -- There are no airports close to the house served by the budget airlines. The nearest airport is Paris Orly (approx 240km) but Metz and Reims are much closer.

From Other European Countries

By Road -- Please see the map at the top of this page which shows the location of the house. We will be happy to supply you with an itinerary should you require one.

By Rail -- The nearest large rail station is Troyes. The nearest with a TGV station is Dijon.

By Air -- The closest international airport is Paris Orly which is approximately 240 kms. from Maison Blanche. Local airports are Reims and Metz.

International Travel -- If you would like our help, please do not hesitate to ask. We will happily look at your arrangements and do whatever we can to assist.

General -- We do not undertake travel arrangements but are always happy to help. Should you wish to be collected from a railway station or airport we will happily arrange for someone to pick you up. We will be able to give you a price when we know the exact circumstances.
